Volunteering
W.W.C.H.E.’s success is due in large part to the contribution of its members, and we are always grateful for the wonderful program, activity and event ideas that are suggested for the betterment of our group. If you have an idea for an activity or event, or if you would be willing to coordinate an activity or event, please contact Activity Director Lorie Webb at 770.489.1327.

I understand that W.W.C.H.E. is a volunteer organization and depends on the time and talents of each of its members to contribute services for the benefit of the entire group, and wish to become a member. As required by the W.W.C.H.E. By-Laws, I volunteer to serve in *two areas. Please note that Coordinators and Co-Coordinators are only permitted to serve in one position. (For a list of volunteer positions, please see our W.W.C.H.E. Events and Activities Page..)

In order of priority, please list four (4) volunteer positions in which you are willing to serve. Our Activity Director will notify you of your two assignments.

1.) to abide by the State of Georgia’s Home Education Laws and the Georgia State Compulsory Attendance Law. (This law applies to all families home schooling children who are between six (6) and sixteen (16) years of age.)

2.) I have read and to the W.W.C.H.E. Statement of Faith.

3.) I have read and to the W.W.C.H.E. Statement of Philosophy.

4.) to abide by and uphold the W.W.C.H.E. By-Laws and Rules of Conduct as stated in the By-Laws and to follow the Event Guidelines as outlined in the Policies for W.W.C.H.E. Groups and Activities.
5.) In I Corinthians 6, we are taught not to take our disputes to ungodly judges before unbelievers. Keeping this in mind, to indemnify and hold harmless Wisdom’s Way Christian Home Educators, its Board of Directors, Event/Activity Coordinators, teachers and parent volunteers as well as all facilities utilized by Wisdom’s Way Christian Home Educators of any and all action or damages relative to our minor child with regard to any accident, injury or death. We further agree to release, forever discharge and hold harmless Wisdom’s Way Christian Home Educators, its Board of Directors, Event/Activity Coordinators, teachers and parent volunteers as well as all facilities utilized by Wisdom’s Way Christian Home Educators from any and all liabilities, claims or demands with regard to property damage and expenses, of any nature whatsoever, which may be incurred by the undersigned or the above-referenced minor child while participating in any Wisdom’s Way Christian Home Educators program, event/activity, class or field trip.

6.) that WWCHE may administer minor first aid, such as ice, bandages, Neosporin, Tylenol or Advil, etc. to our child if needed.

7.) that the child or children listed on this application have our permission to attend and participate in programs provided by Wisdom’s Way Christian Home Educators. We understand that Wisdom’s Way Christian Home Educators will seek emergency medical and/or dental treatment for our child in the event of an accident or emergency where we cannot be reached to give our consent. We agree that Wisdom’s Way Christian Home Educators is not responsible for our minor child’s well-being or safety, and that we, as custodial parents or legal guardians, bear sole physical and financial responsibility for our minor child.

8.) that my name, address, phone number, email address, children’s names and church information will be published in the W.W.C.H.E. Directory and that I will be receiving homeschool related messages through my email and by phone through the Calling Post Messaging Service.

9.) that the information contained in the Directory and password for the website is confidential and may not be given out to anyone.

10.) that photographs taken at W.W.C.H.E. events and activities may be posted on www.wwche.org and that I or my child(ren) may appear in those photos.
